FAQs

Q: Do you give free estimates?

A: Yes, we are happy to be able to provide customers with free estimates. In most cases we require that you will be home to meet for the estimate. We like to be able to talk to you about the specifics of the job and find this is the best way we are on the same page and meet all of your needs.

Q: How long after my request will you be able to come and give me an estimate?

A: In most cases we are able to schedule and estimate in approximately 3-4 business days after the request. In the busiest seasons it could take longer.

Q: How long after accepting a quote until my job can be scheduled?

A: This can vary greatly dependent on a lot of factors. In our busiest season we are booked up about 2-4 weeks in advance, at any given time. It could be sooner, it could be longer.

Q: How much do you charge?

A: It is impossible to say over the phone or even if you want to text or email us pictures of the tree. There are just too many factors involved and we have to come out and have a look at your project to be able to provide a price.

Q: How long is my job going to take?

A: This depends on a lot of factors. We will include in the quote an estimated time for completion of your project.

Q: Do I have to be there when my work is being completed?

A: Nope! We have a busy and constantly changing schedule, so trying to work around your schedule could cause additional delays. It is not necessary for you to be home for us to complete the work.

Q: Do I need a permit to remove a tree?

A: It depends on several factors, including your city and the size of the tree. If a permit is required, we will handle all the paperwork so you don’t have to.

Q: Are you licensed? Insured?

A: Yes, we are licensed. Yes, we carry much more than the minimum required insurance on damages that may occur. (We have never had to use our insurance!)

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept cash and personal checks.

Q: Can I keep the firewood?

A: Of course! Be sure mention that you would like to keep the wood at the quote so we can talk about the details of exactly how you want it left and factor that in.

Q: Can I keep the wood chips?

A: Absolutely! Again, mention this at the quote so we can factor it in to the price of the job.

Q: What do you do with the tree once you remove it?

A: All of our tree removal debris are dumped at a designated green waste facility.

Q: Do you haul all debris?

A: Yes. Whatever level of service is required for the job we are able to accommodate. We can offer anywhere from cutting the tree down and leaving everything, no clean up, to taking all of the debris and not leaving a single leaf.

Q: Do you have a bucket truck?

A: Yes. Whatever tool is right for your job we either own or have easy access to. Whether it be a bucket truck, crane, or any other piece of machinery. We will bring whatever is needed to get the work done efficiently and safely.
